How do I stop the Reviewing toolbar from coming up each
time I edit an existing document?

Hi salim,

This is a symptom of an option in Outlook. When you email an Office
file attachment Outlook automatically adds Reviewing data to the File
Properties.

To disable this "feature", in Outlook go to Tools/Options, on the
Preferences tab click "E-Mail Options", then click "Advanced E-mail
Options". At the bottom turn off "Add properties to attachments to
enable Reply with Changes".

Unfortunately this will only help those ~you~ send document
attachments to. However a workaround for this issue can be found in
this article:
