Reviewer default does not reflected in different colors in 2003 fo

I am working on a document and a co-author who is working from a totally
different location and computer is coming up with the same color for tracker
(green) - there are only three of us reviewing the document - how can I get
default to select a different color for each of us. I have been advised by
another author they are not having this problem.

Sounds as if the document is set to high security (where authors are deleted
when the document is saved). Look at Tools, Options and the security tab and
see if you have a tick mark in the box where it says. Remove personal
information from this file on save. Remove this to see separate authors in
the document.

If the authors are removing personal information from the file on saving,
this could be the problem.

I am having the same problem, except my duplicate is coming up red.

When I look at the reviewing pane, the document has kept my comments and
'Brad's comments separate, but they are appearing in the same color.

What happens if you choose a specific color for tracked changes (any color),
OK, then return to the dialog and choose "By Author"?

I tried that-- all comments went to the same color, then reverted back.

I gave up on it last night.

I posted the document on our Sharepoint site, and other users confirmed
there was a color difference between the users.

Today, I opened the document from Sharepoint, and behold--the colors were
different! Not only were my comments different colors than "Brad's", but
instead of red and green, we now have purple, teal, and yellow!

I opened my original local document again, and the colors are now different
(blue, olive, and yellow.

Very bizzare behavior. I don't know if it was a restart of the computer
that 'fixed' it or not. If anyone else is still having this problem, please
try rebooting and post whether or not that fixed it.

Rebooting does solve a multitude of problems!
