Reviewing Menu Bar Stuck? Accept All Changes Disabled??

Hi all!

I didn't find anything in the MS database about this -- has anyone else
experienced it?

I'm on Word 2003, SP2. Tracking & reviewing changes seem to work fine
EXCEPT, clicking on the down arrows next to "Accept Change" and "Reject
Change" is not giving me the expected pulldown with "Accept All..." / "Reject
All". Indeed, clicking on them does not do anything at all!

So, I'm stuck having to review all changes, one at a time: click on next
change, click on accept (which is working), on and on and on...

Any hidden options (I checked the Review tab to no avail) or registry
settings? Is it just broken??

I also did the recent massive MS Update a few days ago. Any chance that it
broke the menu bar?

Thanks!

Well, I also installed the update-of-the-month-club package, and my
Reviewing toolbar still works, so it wasn't necessarily that.

Here are two things to try:

- Click Help > Detect and Repair. If the Office installer files
weren't cached on your hard drive, you may need the original
installation disk to complete this.

- Try using the reviewing toolbar from Word 2002 and earlier, which is
still available in 2003. Follow the instructions in
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/AsgnCmdOrMacroToToolbar.htm.
The command you want is in the All Commands category, and it's named
ToolsReviewRevisions.
