RFC 2822 standard

Dan RFC 2822

I am using Outlook 2000 and cannot figure out how to get it to use the "Reply-To" address instead of the "From" address...

RFC 2822 states that the replies should be sent to the "Reply-To" address, if present , instead of the FROM address...

how do I get Outlook to respond to the "Reply-To" address in the e-mail...

It does this automatically. You can create messages with a "reply to" by
specifying the address in the Options of the e-mail message in the Delivery
Options section.

Note that Outlook's Rules Wizard does not use the Reply To address.
