Rich text box -- non-repeating field ??? Please explain

I am trying to use a Rich Text control for data that is stored in a
repeating SQL Server database record (a varchar field). When I place the
control on my form, I get the following message:

"A rich text box must be bound to a non-repeating field with a rich text
data type. If the field is part of a repeating group, then the rich text box
must be inside a repeating table or repeating section that is bound to that
group."

Can someone please explain what I need to do to use a Rich Text control with
a SQL Server database?
