Feel kind of stupid here because I'm sure the answer is simple but I can't figure it out! I'm trying to get part of the text in a line to be left justified, and other text to be right justified. I've tried highlighting the text I want on the right then clicking the right align button, but it just aligns the ENTIRE line to the right (including the text that I didn't highlight).

Any ideas?

Thanks..

What you're attempting to use is Paragraph Alignment which affects an entire
paragraph and can only be one or the other of the available choices. What
you need to use are custom Tab settings. For example, if you want the first
content flush with the left margin & the other right aligned at the right
margin - Just type the first text, press the Tab key & set a Flush Right Tab
at the right margin. Adjust to suit yourself:) If you need more info see
Word Help on setting Tabs.

Another Option: Use a 2-column Table, leave the left column left aligned &
make the second column right aligned. You can also remove the Borders of the
table if you don't want them to display/print. again, Help on Tables is
available through the Help Menu.
