i was told to install my Microsoft Office Language Settings from my Microsoft
Word cd in order to have more languages. However, after checking the
languages off, i noticed that all my documents now have right angles at the
corner of each page. what do they do and how do i get rid of them? also,
what do the language changes do?

The crop marks are part of the East Asian language support that you
installed.

are they removable?

The following may not apply with your additional language support.

In Word 2003{English only}, Tools, Options, View Tab, under Print and Web
Layout options clear the Text Boundaries check box. Word 2002 was the same.
Not sure about your unspecified version.
