Right Click Does Not Work in Outlook 2003

I'm using Outlook 2003 and when I right click on an email in my inbox
to get the properties, the right click option isn't there. It use to
work fine, but I'm not able to right click any longer on the
individual emails. If I right click on the folder list, it seems to
work fine. I've been getting a lot of spam lately, and I would like
to be able to right click to check the properties of individual emails
before I open them. I used the "detect & repair" feature but am still
having the problem. I tried reinstalling Office to see if that would
fix the problem but I'm still having the same issue. Does anyone know
a fix for this? Thank you for your help.

It could be that an add-in is capturing the right-click and not doing
anything with it. Check if you get the right-click back loading Outlook in
Safe mode (hold down the CTRL key while loading Outlook).

If it works fine in Safe Mode, then look through your add-ins and COM
add-ins and try disabling anything you've added recently.
