All,
I have a very annoying problem with a particular user. She has Outook 2003
installed on a W2K pro box and she has lost her right click in her inbox.
Initially, I closed Outlook and deleted the outcmd.dat file in her profile
and it fixed it temporarily. Next, I had the team rebuid her a machine and
new profile. They copied the nk2 file back, some favorites and documents.
So, this morning the user starts up her machine and says the right-click is
gone. I go up and look at it and it is gone I delete the forms cache as
someone said that this might be a fix from our team and it didn't work. So I
figure, I will wait until the user goes to a meeting to start with a totally
fresh profile. I go back up to her desk within minutes to try something else
and the right click is back. She now has the right click functionality
again. Before her new machine, she would do a full detect and repair and it
would be fine for a little while and then go away again. She is also working
in Exchange Cached mode with a fresh .ost. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
