Right-click in Open Doc Dialog, and hang.....

Just upgraded from Office Word 2003 to Office Word 2007, and I'm vexed to
see that a problem I had with 2003 is still with me in 2007:

If I click on Open, and get the Open Document dialog box, if I right-click
in the box, to try to rearrange the list from, e.g., Name order to, e.g.,
When Modified order, I cannot do so, and the application hangs, shuts down,
and restarts.

Happened with 2003, and still does after the 2007 upgrade.

Any ideas?

This is a symptom of a dead legacy mapped drive or problem with a
bad/corrupt/phantom folder. I'd check the file list using Windows Explorer
to see if you can find the problem. It isn't a Word problem as such.
