Right click to adjust column width

I'm new to the Mac.
In Excel for Windows, I often use the right mouse button.
For example, if I have selected a column, right-clicking
on the mouse gives me a menu of choices, like adjust
column width.

Is there a general equivalent on the Mac for right
clicking a mouse?

And, does anyone know of a help site for Windows people
like me that shows the Mac equivalents? (And that would
show me if an equivalent action is not possible. I have
searched on "right click" to no avail; I'm left not
whether there is no equivalent or whether I am just not
searching the right way.

THANKS !!

Holding down the CTRL key while clicking will bring up contextual
menus (so will right-clicking if you have a 2+ button mouse - 2
button mice are supported natively in OSX, and can be used with the
proper driver in OS8/9).
