RIGHT function #erro

I tried to use the RIGHT function.

In the report opens a text box. In the origin of the control and I typed:
= Right ([NomedoCampo];3)

This will do that appears only the last three digits of the field
NomedoCampo.


gave right now, I don't only get to understand because we have to create a
new text box. Because direct in the field as I was doing gives #erro.

You used ; should be ,

= Right ([NomedoCampo],3)

Frank,
A control name cannot be the same as the name of a field used in it's
control source expression.
You will get an #error if the name of the control is
'NomedoCampo'.
Change it to 'txtNomedoCampo', for example, and it should be OK.
