right side pane

people i work with use the gantt and resource usage views.

the problem is that when they open up project, the right side pane takes up
almost half the screen, so they're constantly dragging it off to the right.

i've been playing with doing that action programmatically but am having
little luck. does anyone know if in fact this can be done?

Yes, can be done
In the Project_Open event include the statement:

SetSplitBar(75)
