Risk link to a task

P

Poni

Hello,

At "My task" I can drill down to a specific task and at the attachment
session I can see risks and I can get into the risks list that I created.
How do I choose the risk that I want to assign to the task ?

Thanks

P.

Hi Poni,

there are several ways, but it all comes down to accessing the risk list.
When you create a new risk (list item) or edit an existing list item, you
will see a button called "Link item". When you select this button you can see
a list of all your tasks within the project schedule. All you need to do is
select the task that you like to link the risk ( and issue by the way too) to
and save the list item.

Please note, only after you have republished the project schedule will you
get the risk icon displayed in the Project Center and Project Detail screen.
Hope this makes sense

Our 'Link Item' feature isn't working as we're getting 'you do not have
permission to create ole objects' errors.

Any ideas on why that is??
