Hi,

We need to assign premissions to risk / issue creation, modification and
deletion.
Is this possible?
If so, how?
Can this be done using based on the groups defined in PWA?

Yes it is possible. Your Project Administrator should follow this

1. Go to the RISK / ISSUE list of a Project
2. Click 'Modify settings and columns' on left
3. Click 'Change permissions for this list' under General Settings
4. Click the group for which you want to modify permisson
5. Click ok

The PWA groups are already made members of WSS site.

You have to do that for every RISK & ISSUE list for all projects. The better
approach will be to modify the Project Workspace Template. Doing so will
create future project sites from your modified template. I think this way you
can assign the same permissons to new WSS sites without having to manually
change permissons for all RISK / ISSUES lists.
