To use all functions of a CTI software, the vendor asks to run Office 2007 in
XP SP2 compatibility mode as mentioned in an Microsoft KB article by setting
the following values
"How to place Office 2007 applications into Windows XP SP2 compatibility
mode:"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers]
"C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Office\\Office12\\WINWORD.EXE"="WINXPSP2"
"C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Office\\Office12\\EXCEL.EXE"="WINXPSP2"
"C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Office\\Office12\\POWERPNT.EXE"="WINXPSP2"
Can anyone tell me, if I lose some functionality / functions in Office 2007
and if there´s a risk to do that?
Thank you
