Hello,
I have read/researched the last week on how to create a *.prf so that
multiple users can log on to any machine that they have access to, and launch
outlook without any user input (server name, type of mail account, etc).
I just want to configure outlook. With over 20+ steps in creating a *.prf
file, does anyone know what steps I can use, and what steps I can skip? will
skipping steps make this profile not work?
Here is the scenario,
7 computers are used at 7 remote locations. 70+ shift workers use these
machines (FireFighters) All machines have the full version of Microsoft
Office 2003 installed (pro11.msi). All users have user have basic user
priveledges (some have been modified by a GPO, remove run command, elevate
priveledges when installing software, etc).
The second part to my question is this. Once I create the *.prf as the
administrator on a machine (All seven machines are identical, including
hardware, software, and location of software) do I then drop this profile in
the office folder on the local hard drive?
Thank you kindly in advance for any help
