Roles security error with AD

I am trying to use roles in a simple form published to a WSS form library. I
have set up a few roles, mapped roles to AD users, and tried to hide some
fields based on the user's role when the form is opened. The form is set to
Domain level trust, and from what I understand this is sufficient for using
AD mapped InfoPath roles. When I preview the form it works fine, but when I
publish the form and try to fill out a new form, I get the following error:

"Your user name or group membership cannot be verified because the form's
security settings do not permit it."

any help would be greatly appreciated!!
