Roll up multiple projects by phase

My project plans all have standard phases: requirements, design,
development, test, deployment, support. I need to create a filter, view,
whatever that will allow me to roll up my projects in a standard projects to
program roll up, AND roll up my projects so that they all roll up under the
standard phase headings. For instance I would like my 5 projects'
requirements phases to roll up under the summary task requirements, and the 5
projects' design phases to roll up under the summary task design, etc. for
all the phases. I can get all the plans mapped into a "master plan" and to
roll up the standard way via external dependencies, but I am stuck on how to
get the phases to roll up under phase headings. I am using Project Pro,
Project Server and PWA. I would really appreciate any help I can get. I am
stuck!!

Marty:

Open your master project and expand all the projects. Select Project > Group
by > Customize Group by and select Outline Number in the field list and
click apply. This should get you started. Make sure your project structures
are consistent or this won't work very well.
