Hi everyone. We are using Project Server 2003 SP2a and there is a strange
behavior. We created a custom field called "expected % complete" which
calculates the expected % complete based on the duration of the task and the
time elapsed from the task start date to the current date. We also created a
"schedule performance" custom field which is a stoplight indicator based on
the variance between expected % complete and the physical % complete. For
"expected % complete", we selected use formula for the roll up and for
"schedule performance", we selected minimum for the roll up. This works the
way we expect it to in project professional. This also works the way we
expect it to PWA project views. However, we added the fields to the My Tasks
view, and it does not behave the same way there. The subtasks are fine, but
the summary tasks are behaving strangely. In the My Tasks view, the
"expected % complete" behaves as if we selected sum for roll up and the
"schedule performance" stoplight indicator does not show at all for summary
tasks. Has anyone seen this behavior before and/or is this a known bug in
Microsoft Project Server 203?
