Rolling up milestones to a summary level, but only so far

Hi, I have put together a relatively straightforward project plan, which has
4 outline levels. At level 4 all of the dates are milestones.

How can i roll up the milestones to appear on the gantt bars at outline
level 3, and not roll up any further (to levels 2 and 1) - it makes my plan
look really messy and somewhat incomprehensible!

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks Jan, but that doesn't seem to work. I have selected outline levels 1 &
2, right clicked them and deselected 'show rolled up gantt bars' under Task
Information/General but the milestones are still appearing on the gantt bars
at level 1 & 2. Help! Am I donig something wrong?

Sorry my fault have found the problem! I had 'always rollup gantt' selected
under 'layout'
