Rollover Options?

I have created a main menu slide with buttons that have hyperlinks. I
was wondering if there would be any way to have little text boxes
appear when you rollover each button. I want these text boxes to have
custom text, not the hyperlink info.

I see PowerPoint's built-in highlight feature, which seems to just be
a blink. Any other fancier rollovers available for PowerPoint?

No fancy rollovers, I'm afraid. You can use the tool tips, though.
