Rollover text not working

FrontPage 2003
I've setup my navigation so that it "should" changes colour when the mouse
rolls over it, but it's not working. I set it up in page properties ...
enabled it and then set the colour, but it won't work and I don't understand
why. It's worked on another site. Usually the only problem I had was
setting the size to be the same.
I can send the link if someone thinks they might be able to diagnose the
problem.
Thanks.

Oh myyyy ... Corey!!! I don't know anything about classes, but when I go
there, there are none listed. Are they fairly easy to add. I can figure
most stuff out (but admittedly ... not everything). thanks.

I'll check out the link you provided.

I think the OP is not talking about CSS, but the basic colour changes of
links in the page properties in FP.

Andrew, you are correct. It's a very simple thing, but I can't get it to
work.

Thanks for clarifying. If black, change to red when the mouse is over it.

You might be relying on the "Frontpage way", but take a moment to check out
the classes. Apply styles is not that hard and you will be better off in the
long run.

Corey,
I'm not entirely sure what is meant by classes. I'm totally ok with styles
when it comes to word, etc., but don't know what they mean when you refer to
"classes". I don't even know where to begin. If you can send me a start
perhaps I'll know what it is that I should do. I've never worked with
classes (at least not knowlingly).

The source code is sometimes good but check out:
http://www.iwdn.net/index.php?referrerid=23 would be a board to help you as
well with creating the code. The Classes are very simple and once you get
the hang of it, you won't go back.

Style sheets can be applied to all your pages and then you make a change,
say to one of your headers and this change will be applied to all pages
attached to the style sheet
