Rollup of number field or cost field

I am using Activity Codes to capture some values (that happen to be whole
numbers). I have tried Cost1 and Number1, and under Customize fields, asked
that it rollup the values from the Task rows to the Summary rows. The values
on the Task rows go back to zero. Any suggetions? Thanks, Richard.

BTW, I am using MS Office Project SP2.

Hi,

I just entered a rollup function of Sum and my summary tasks happily sum the
Number1 values for all sub-tasks. This is Project 2003.

In which fields are you introducing the data?
Resource fields, assignment fields or Task fields?

My error, I had the data in a summary field. So, when it added up the values
on the tasks, they were all zeros. When I put the values on a task instead,
everythings works. Trying to get too much done in too little time, I guess.
