I have an .mpp (Prj 03 Standard) with about 6,000 tasks. When a
particular filter* is applied and the project is calculated on my
workstation, all summaries correspond correctly to the earliest/latest
dates of their respective children.
However, when a copy of the same mpp is calculated on another
workstation, and also on a server where an automated process runs, the
same summaries with the same filter do not correspond to the earliest
and latest dates of their respective children - the summaries start
much earlier than the earliest child task, and they end much later
than the latest child.
We cannot find any dates in the file that correspond to these summary
bar starting and ending dates.
*the filter looks for specified text in Text1 and includes summary
rows.
I don't know how to diagnose this - if the file were corrupted you
would expect it to misbehave on all computers.
Any ideas wouold be appreciated.
Thanks
