Rollup value for custom fields in PWA Project Center

Hi,
Instead of having the “finish†description for the finish column within PWA
Project center, we would like to rename it “forecast finishâ€. I have
configured an Enterprise custom field type â€date†and have given it the name
“Forecast Finish†with the formula [finish].
I have changed my PWA view to include this custom field – So far so good.

Unfortunately when I now check my view, the custom field does not roll up
the value within my outline codes ( program and portfolio outline code). I
did change the “Calculation for task and group summary rows†to maximum when
I created my custom field, but no luck.
In order for me to check my finish date for my program, I will need to have
this roll up functionality within my Project Center, preferably with the
naming convention “forecast finishâ€.
Any ideas how to achieve this.

Are you having the rollup issue in Pro or in PWA?

If it is in PWA only, chances are the value is not being published. Change
Tools, Options, Collaboration tab near bottom. Change the checkbox to
publish task if anything changes. This will also republish the project
summary task and you should see your rollups.

Hi TGG,

Thank you for your response. The issue I have is in PWA. I did publish the
value and I can see the value on a Project level. I still cannot see a value
within my "outline code". My outline code is set up to show a department tree
view and I would like to see the finish date on the Deparments ( I have a
couple of projects under the "Department A" and would like to see the latest
finish date of all projects within this department).
Any suggestions would be much appreachiated.
