Dear All,
I am looking at the possibility of setting up a room booking service for
work. Ideally people would be able to view a calendar to see which rooms
are available when and then book the rooms. Booking would vary....some
rooms would be bookable 6 months in advance, some only on the day. I am
also considering a series of permissions so that, for example, a director
has more flexibility in booking than less senior staff. is this possible to
do in Access and if so could it be put on a company intranet?
Thanks,
Danny
calendar. Setting up editing rights is also easy, however there are two
problems.
1) I would like to set it so that people can not book the room for more than
2 weeks in advance (for example)
2) I would like to set it so that once a room is booked the booking can only
be changed by a) the room booker or b) an administrator.
3) also while I am thinking about it, in 2003 there is a default value for
setting rights, eg I could set the default value to reviewer and then
everyone could see but not edit the calendar. Is there a similar function
in Outlook 2000?
Thanks in advance,
Danny
