Rotate inserted picture in Microsoft Word 2007 - blank space on si

In MSWord 2007, I insert a photo using ALT-I-P-F (or ALT-N-P), then rotate it
90° right using ALT-JP-AY-R (because it's a vertical photo). By default, the
photo is inserted in line with text (which is what I want). After that, there
is about an inch of blank space (without any characters) appearing to both
right and left of the photo. How do I get rid of it? It appears the space was
allocated based on the width of the photo before it was rotated.

yeah, this is suck. guess u need to rotate the photo first using other program, such mspowerpoint, then paste the fix orientation of your photo to your msword document again. we can do it smoothly in msword 2003, but in msword 2007, i found this is the only way...goodluck.
