I sent a large graph to Kinko's to print; the type in all the rotated text
boxes is distorted but readable. I used a TT Arial, and sent the file to
Kinko's using their "file print fedex kinkos" tool. The tool "Properties"
says "Truetype fonts download as softfonts." Help in Visio states: "Microsoft
Visio does not support printer fonts or bitmap fonts. Microsoft Visio does
support Postscript fonts on the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system and
on other Windows operating systems, if the operating system supports
appropriate Adobe Type Manager software. Note that you cannot use Postscript
fonts or vector fonts for transparent text or in metafiles." I don't know
what all this means. Also, shapes that are overlaid print ok on my printer,
but show up as white on the Kinko's prints. Any ideas?
