rotating drawing

I have drawings that are portrait but I need to make them rotate horizontally
while I work with them to draw boxes with reference numerals. How can I do
that? I need to leave them in portrait - but it is very difficult and time
consuming to work that way.

In Visio 2007:
Zoom out so you can see the full page and hold down the cursor when you
hover over the top right corner.The cursor will change to a rotate symbol.
Hold the left mouse button (as well as the Ctrl key) and rotate the page.
The angle of rotation should be visible at the bottom of the screen.
You can then add your rotated text
When finished, rotate the page back again.
