Rounded Corners in an Org Chart

I'm using Visio 2002 and would like to round the corners in an organization
chart. I've selected Format > Line and chosen one of the Round corner
options, but whether I choose Apply or OK nothing happens. What am I doing
wrong?

It works fine for me.
Is the shape selected?

Yes, the shape is selected. I choose one of the corner options, click Apply
and OK. Any other options (like color and line thickness) take effect, but
the rounded corner is ignored and when I open the Format Line dialog box
again, the corner rounding setting is back to 0.

It's driving me nuts!

It looks like corner rounding on the Org Chart shapes doesn't work
before Visio 2003. In 2000 and 2002 the round corner option has no
effect on the shape. In 2003 you are asked if you want to upgrade the
shapes to the latest type. If you do that then rounding wroks. So, if
rounding is important then an upgrade to Visio 2003/2007 is the only
way to go.

an organization chart. It's curious that the option is there.

The Organization Chart drawing type is controlled by an add-on that provides
all the special functionality. It looks like prior versions of the add-on
were a bit too aggressive trying to manage the diagramming environment.
Please continue to let us know situations like this where the normal Visio
functionality doesn't work. We want you to have the best of both worlds -
all the flexibility of the Visio drawing surface with the special features
that are provided for individual diagram types.
