Rounding decimals down

Is there a simple function to get excel to round down instead of up. My
water comp. rounds down (suprise) so my own sheets are never exactly the
same as my bills.

Peter,

I don't know if you can round down in Excel but if you want to round down to
whole numbers you could take the integer part of the numbers you are using.
eg. If you have 25.7 in cell A1 use =Int(25.7) which will give 25. This
might help...

Have you tried the "ROUNDDOWN" function, yet?
