Route a Document with Discussion Notes

I just set up a Discussion server on our network for Word
2002. It works for files on the network, but is there a
way to use the discussion notes on a "routed" document?
I'm routing it with the "Send To" option under "File". The
problem is that a document routed with "Send To" option
will attach the discussion notes to the doc at the
temporary location and will not follow the doc to the next
recipient.
