routing a document

I have a user that whenever he forwards a routing document on the next
recipient he does not recieve the pop up that would allow him to decide
wether he should send the routing slip or route it without sending the slip.

Any ideas why he is the only user that has this problem? They are all using
idenical versions and updates for Microsoft word on their computers.

What version of Outlook is being used for the routing procedure?
Word/Outlook versions must match for office automation features to work.
