routingslip truncated filename

I am using routingslip to successfully send e-mails from Excel to my Novell
Groupwise users, but the excel filename gets truncated to 8 characters. I
want it to keep my longer filenames. Can this be solved on the sending side
(via microsoft) or on the receiving side (Novell Groupwise)?
