Roving cursor

Lately my cursor has taken on a life of its own. When I point it, it will
suddenly go all over the place and I have to wait until it settles down and
repoint it to where I want to go. Any ideas why it does this?

Install Service Pack 1 for Vista? (My cursor would wiggle up and to
the left once in a while, but they fixed it.)
