Row and column names

When we start a new spreadsheet, the columns are numbered
1, 2, 3... and the rows are numbered 1, 2, 3... I am used
to the columns being lettered A, B, C. Does anyone know
how I can change it from numbers to letters? Thanks.

Click Tools > Options > General tab
Uncheck R1C1 reference style under "Settings"
Click OK

Go to Tools/Options/General Tab and remove the check beside R1C1 reference
style
