Row Headings

The way the column headings are set up allows you to
scroll down a table and still see the column heading. Is
there anyway to do that with row headings when you scroll
across a table?

There are no ROW HEADINGS.

When you view a table in access, the first row could contain aything; it is
simply the first field's data.

If that first column contains some key data, you can freeze it while you
scroll. Click on the column to the right of the one which you wish to
freeze (in other words, highlight column two) then select FREEZE COLUMNS
from the FORMAT menu.
