Row Numbering

Hi All

As I am creating my project plan, with a whole bunch of tasks under it - i realise that the row number is incorrect for example row 186 and then suddenly row 218

I have as my settings no filters and I have a number of times clicked on show sub tasks but to no end

If I expand and collapse the tasks sometimes missing rows appear and sometimes they still don't !

Whacky or what?

Aarti,
Three other suggestions beyond what Andrew offered. First, check to see
if the tasks are sorted by something other than task ID. Second, if the
file is a master file with inserted subprojects, try opening the
subprojects and then use the "Show subtasks". Third, if the file has
external links to another file, check the setting of Tools/Options/View
tab and ensure that the two check boxes for external predecessors and
successors is checked.
