We are currently trying to develop an InfoPath 2007 form based on a
SQL server link. Unfortunately, our ERP app requires a timestamp for
versioning purposes. When I try to remove this field from our select
statement I get the following error:
"To represent the sql statement in a tree view, the statement must
include all the row version columns from the tables. Do you want
InfoPath to add the row version columns to your SQL Statement?"
I click "No" so that upon submission of records info path doesn't try
to insert a null value...subsequently leading to an error. However,
when I click "Finish" Infopath crashes. I was able to reproduce this
on two other machines.
Is there any other way to tell Infopath to "Ingore" sql server data
types that are autogenerated?
