I am having connection RPC over HTTP issues only from a specific environment.
My client environment is:
Windows XP Pro SP2
Outlook 2007
Within my home network I can connect via RPC over HTTP to my corporate email
server. This is a typical home network consisting of a cable modem and
router to reach the internet.
At a customer site where I spend the majority of my day they use a automatic
configuration script to enable access to the internet. I am able to connect
to Outlook over the Web but remain disconnected after launching Outlook.
Several others are able to connect within this environment so the issue is
specific to my machine. Looking at the exchange connection status dialog I
can see that it is trying to connect but fails leaving four type “Directoryâ€
lines each showing “Disconnectedâ€.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have checked everything I could
think of.
