Hi
I have setup RPC / HTTPS, the majority of clients that connect correctly to
the front end server with out the need of a username / password. Using NTLM
authentication. Yet I have two that that require passwords event though NTLM
is set. I have made sure the Authentication across the network is all the
same. That is lmcompatibilitylevel = 2, (this was done via group policy). I
have confirmed the registry for these problem workstations
lmcompatibilitylevel is equal to 2. I have setup 12 workstations so far
without a problem. The following list the config of the workstations and
servers. (All laptops are the same model and build.)
Servers
Windows 2003 sp1 Front and Back
Exchange servers 2003 sp2 Frontend and Backend
3rd Party certificate installed and working well.
RPC/HTTPS is working internally and externally for the majority of users.
Domain Clients
XP sp2 with all applied updates
Office Pro 2003 sp2
rpcrt4.dll = 5.1.2600.2180
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
