RPC logon screen behind Outlook

Hi

I have a user (Outlook 2003) who connects to our Exchange Server (2003 SP2
running on Server 2003 R2 SP2) via RPC Over HTTP. Everytime she connects
the user credentials box appear behind Outlook and she has to enter her
password 'blind'. I have tried using ALT+Tab to cycle through the
applications and Task Manager to 'Switch To' the Logon dialog, but nothing I
do seems to bring it to the front. She can't access any of her mail, tools
bar or menus until she enters the password (as it should be) but it is
getting annoying.

On a (not necessarily) related note she is now having a similar problem with
Word 2003's (but not any other Office app) 'Save As..' dialog box.

I have tried using the 'Detect and Repair' function and also ran a Virus
Scan using the latest, up-to-date version of Sophos AAV, but still can't
resolve this.

I have been working on this for 2 days now and am at my wits end so any help
would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tony

Hi - this really sounds like a Windows (desktop) or MS Office issue. I'd try
crossposting a new msg to a Windows XP & Office newsgroup for the most
expert help - this certainly isn't going to be an Exchange problem.

That's a client OS issue.

I bet it's not behind. If you minimize all windows(show desktop) it does not
appear. I have the same problem. If you change to NTLM authentication the
login window appears but you can't log in. Could it be a SP3 problem? Did
you find a solution?
