RPC over http initial connection/no VPN

Is there a way to make this work if the user has no vpn/dial up connection
back to our LAN? We have a few users that do not have a LAN connection and
would like to offer them the ability to use this feature. thanks.

Absolutely, they can setup the Exchange profile with no network connection
at all. If they do go thru the account setup dialog and have a connection,
they will hit a really, really, really, really long wait before it comes
back and gives and error dialog about the exchange server missing. They can
ignore the error and continue on and supply the exchange proxy settings in
the account setup, but it most don't because of the error dialog.

you are right, it worked. sweet, thanks. i know i read the first connection
had to be over RPC....but I guess that is not the case.
