Hi,
Using Exchange 2003 SP1
Windows XP SP2
Outlook 2003 SP1
The workstation is NOT part of the Domain that the Exchange server is
located on.
The workstation connects to the exchange server over the public internet
using RPC over HTTP.
The issue is that Outlook is configured to work offline and use RPC over
HTTP connections the first time outlook connects to the exchange server it
ask for a logon and password to the exchange server.
The WindowsXP user is the same as the Exchange Domain account but it asks
this question everytime, i.e., not using the XP credentials. I assume this
is due to the fact that it is basic authentication.
What I would like to know is how can the client be configured so that the
credentials are not requested when the WS is not part of the domain?
Thanks,
George
