I have configured my Exchange 2003 w/SP2 server for RPC Over HTTP and I have
configured my remote client with Outlook 2003 Sp2 for RPC Over HTTP using
Basic Authentication because the Exchange server is behind a firewall. The
Outlook account prompts for the user name and password which I supply and
then after about a 2 minute wait Outlook comes back and says "The connection
to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or
connected to complete this action."
Does this workstation have to be on the internal network the first time I
configure Outlook? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
