I am connecting to SBS 2003 with SP1 with Outlook 2003 SP1. Everything seems
fine and I have even added the rpcproxy settings in the Exchange server
registry. I am able to get to the /rpc virtual directory with no prompt for
certificate. Nothing is showing up in the IIS logs when I attempt to connect
with Outlook and the client is showing the following in its logs when I turn
on extended logging in Outlook.
Rpc call (RfrGetNewDSA) to server (dc1.office.dbdllc.com) failed with error
code (5) after waiting (110) ms; eeInfo (Block (0), Error = 5, Version = 1,
GeneratingComponent = d, DetectionLocation = 548, Flags = 0, Params = 1,
[Param (0) Type = eeptLongVal, Value = 5], Block (1), Error = 5, Version = 1,
GeneratingComponent = e, DetectionLocation = 564, Flags = 0, Params = 2,
[Param (0) Type = eeptLongVal, Value = 2ef1], [Param (1) Type =
eeptUnicodeString, Value = /rpc/rpcproxy.dll?dc1.office.dbdllc.com:6002]).
Any ideas on this?
