RSS feed subscriptions

Doesn't anyone know how to fix a bug with the RSS feed subscription in
outlook 2007. I start the process to add the subscription. input the weblink
for the feed and outlook adds an extra "https://" to the start of the URL.
As a result I get a message saying that outlook cannot access the server.

You add it by what method?
Where do you see the additional "https://" listed?
Which feed are you adding?
