rtd server question

I am looking for a third party that produces an interface that allows
programming, etc for developing a RTD Server add-in for Excel 2007. Has
anyone used any third party tools in the development of RTD add-ins for
Excel? If so, what is the name or website of the third party vendor? I have
been searching but it is difficult to evalutate just from reading the info on
the website. I do realize that an add-in can be done using visual studio and
visual basic, but I also needed to explore the option of a third party vendor
that already has the architecture already built in.

I tried the c++ code from here:

loaded it in MS VC6++ and compiled it to a dll with no errors.
Haven't tried to use it yet with Excel, but it looks promising.

Much simpler than the C++ one and with that you may be able to make it
supply useful data to Excel.
All interesting, although I have no use for it.

RB, thanks for the info. I did some further research and decided to forego
any third party vendor and go thru it all myself with Visual Studio 2005. In
the long run, it is probably better this way. Again, thanks. I also checked
out the MSDN and there was some very useful material in there on the subject,
as well.
