RTD value changes not triggering worksheet change event

Real time data feeds don't appear to trigger worksheet change event.

Does anyone have any idea how I can trigger my macro when values fed in
to cells through DDE or RTD reach a threshold?

You can use OnData to specify a macro to run when the workbook is
updated via DDE.


Application.OnData = "MyMacro"

What about cheating by creating a function in another cell -
=mynewfunction(rtd cell reference, threshold)

and then write a custom function where the function has a line

if rtd cell reference.value > threshold then
'do stuff here
else
'do nothing
end if

That will do the job...
